In the case of a learner under the age of 18 years - a. an unabridged birth certificate; b. a valid passport; c. proof of physical address and contact number of the adult person residing in the Republic, who is acting or has accepted to act as such learner's guardian, including a confirmatory letter from that guardian; and d. proof of consent for the intended stay from both parents, or where applicable, from the parent or legal guardian who has been issued with a court order granting full or specific parental responsibilities and rights or legal guardianship of the learner 15. An official letter from the educational institution, where you intend to study, confirming provisional acceptance and the duration of the course. 16. Proof of medical cover renewed annually for the period of study with a medical scheme registered in terms of the Medical Schemes Act 17. An undertaking by the parents or legal guardian that the learner will have medical cover for the full duration of the period of study. 18. Proof of Total fees payment made to the institute where the applicant is going to study in South Africa. 19. Proof of Insurance should be for the entire duration of studies or proof that the Insurance is renewable. 20. Applicant need to provide Educational qualification certificates with a notary. 21. If you are 18 years and older, a police clearance certificate from each country in which you resided for 12 months or longer since the age of 18 years is required. Passport, (valid for at least 30 days after the intended stay/departure date from South Africa; at least Two unused/blank visa pages) 2. Fully completed visa application form – 11 (DHA-84) – must be completed in black ink and block letters.Application Form 3. Application form-11 (DHA-84) must be signed by the applicant and signature should match the signature on the passport. 4. Proof of funds (Last 03 month’s Personal bank statement signed and stamped by the bank with a balance South African Currency R 3000 or equivalent in INR for Delhi and Mumbai) Required original Indian bank statement on bank letterhead with stamp and signature and no Passbook, e-statements, Net banking copies will be accepted. 5. Kindly note Personal Bank statement is now mandatory in Section 11.2 Category Visa. 6. South African Bank Statement has to stamp & signed by SA POLICE as well as SA BANK. 7. Applicant needs to provide bank statement of the person who will bear the expenses of the traveler and the covering / invitation letter should clearly mention the same, if the bank statement is from South Africa in that case stamp & signature from SA bank and SA police would require or if bank statement is from India then Indian Bank stamp & signature would be required. 8. Incase Indian company is bearing the cost of the traveler in that case we would need company bank statement with bank stamp and signature. Or if South African company is taking the responsibility of the traveller in that case South African company bank statement would be required with SA Police & SA Bank stamp and signature. 9. Letter of invitation from the South African organizers/hosts/companies stating the name, passport number of applicant as well as purpose and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of the host and host’s/authorized signature’s name, designation and signature (Host ID copy attested by commissioner of OATHS needs to be submitted if required by SAHC). 10. Recommendation from respective film commission in South Africa i.e. Cape Town Film Commission, Durban Film Office or Gauteng Film Commission stating the name, passport number of applicant(s) as well as purpose and duration of visit. (if going for a Film project) 11. Reference/introduction letter from Indian employer stating the name, passport number of applicant as well as purpose and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of authorized signature’s name, designation and signature; 12.
